- The agricultural sector: Agriculture covers nearly 60% of the department’s surface area, some 6,300 farms of which over half are dedicated to growing cereal crops. 1/5th of agricultural plots are reserved for oleaginous crop production.

A major project for the department: The Ozans bussiness park A 508 ha business park that will welcome secondary and tertiary sector companies. The park initiative, which includes all the major considerations associated with sustainable development; will achieve lasting development not only in economic and social, but also in environmental terms.
